Its been a while since I’ve been on a train (about a year). When I saw the crowds of people around me waiting to board their carriage I was carried away. Few things you miss when you are driving around.

Bijapur was not a abandoned ghost town. The town is growing and it looked more like the forts and walls couldn’t contain the people there. Hence the ruins.
We (me & Punya) heard so much about Gulbarga ‘Pani Puri’, we tasted / tested it in every shop possible. It was field research for our paper on “Pani Puri & Street food in Gulbarga”
